Best living hitter?
For years I have had the best living hitter auto posted up on a shelf in my room. I had a Ted Williams up in my room. After he passed I had taken it down and placed up a Stan Musial. He has been gone for a long time now. The fact is that I have not taken down the Musial. I have a Trout, Kaline and a Cabrera 8x10's to select from and to be honest I am unsure who the best living hitter is? I also have a Mays baseball is he the man? I have Hank Aaron on cards and that might be the right selection. Pete Rose might be the next on display as well! Who do you all think is the best living hitter? It does not need to be from the guys I named as I might be missing the correct player and that is why this seems so hard! It seemed so cut and dry for those last two, but now it is hard to name that player or former player!

I think Miggy Cabrera (when totally healthy!) is the best pure hitter I have ever seen.

To me, it's gotta be Pete Rose, but Hammerin' Hank could have a good argument too.

I woulda just left up Teddy Ballgame, no one will ever hit .400 again in a season..But since it's best LIVING hitter, you gotta go with the man with the most HITS and then it's very easy, Pete Rose. If you wanted to go best CURRENT hitter if say Miggy or Trout.

If we are going by stats, then Pete Rose. He is all the all time hit king.
