I don't have a problem with added value but why not make the non-auto rookies an insert set similar to the Extended Rookie subset? It's just silly having two base set rookies like this.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

If memory serves me correctly it should be their first appearance in a regular card set. Therefore the first, or lowest sequentially numbered, card in the set should be considered a players true rookie card. All others are xrc.

At least this seems to be how Beckett decides which card is the true RC. The only JSY/AU's with the RC tag are of players who are not included in the foil rookies set.

You'd think with the white stripe across the card the auto'd version stickers would have been placed there. Instead, they were placed to the left of the card. This is puzzling to me as I don't see any other reason for the white stripe being there. If they had no intentions to put the sticker autos there they could have at least blended it in to the card better rather then choosing white of all colors, on top of foil. Why anyone would think that was a good idea is beyond me.

They want you to feel guilty about seeing another full set (or two) and feel the need to have to complete it as well.
How would you feel if they did an MVP set that only had 1/4 of all the cards inserted into 4-5 other UD products. Let's say Ser.1, SPx, Ser.2, Trilogy, and could not be completed without buying cards from each set?
