    1998 Patrick Roy card

I pulled a Patrick Roy card from a box of 2003-04 Topps Hockey Hobby.

It is a 1998-99 Topps card #190 with a stamp on the front.

I believe it reads 2003 Vintage Card Fan Favorites.

Cant find it in any inventory-SCF or Beckett.

    Anyone know what it is?

It's a Topps BuyBack! They're not the greatest thing ever but they're sure not the worst either, and Patrick Roy will go for a few bucks compared to some of the dogs they inserted in there........I didn't know they'd included cards as late as 98/99, that's pretty neat

I used to have a stack of them, these are a few of my keepers...............

    Same stamp as yours?

Cant see the stamps on your cards.

Is there a value on these?

Still more than the plain ol' base card tho...........

    Heck, I'd send you a ten-ski for it :)

I would too, nothing beats having something that's actually kinda rare-ish these days eh?

Maybe I can trade it for a good Sakic card for my collection.

I bought several Hobby Boxes of 2003-04 Topps. Those were really hard to pull. I think I opened 5 Hobby Boxes and never found one of these cards.

The Roy card is not listed so I guess its just another one for the checklist.
