Danny Granger
Am I the only one who feels sorry for this guy ?
He had 9 years with Indy, only 3 trips to the finals, 06, 11 and last year. For the last two seasons they have improved and this year they are finally looking like a championship team. Nine years at Indy, hoping to play for a ring this year and it's all gone, nothing is left for Danny.
He has gone from title a contender to terrible, the second worst team in the comp. Could you imagine how excited he would have been about the finals this year ?
People complain about loyalty from players. Indy aren't a better team from this trade.
I dont follow Indy or Danny, but I hope the guy signs with Miami and plays a part in restricting Indy to nothing more than Central Champs.

I agree.
I also don't understand the trade. From what I've heard, they traded him because they where worried that he would mess with the flow of the offense being the natural scorer that he is. But Danny has publicly stated that he would be willing to fill any role the team wanted him to. And if you're worried about the flow of the offense, why trade him for a guy who's made a living off chucking up bad shots?

Worried about offensive flow and chemistry, so they sign Andrew Bynum.

Two teams with A rating coaches.
Clippers aren't ready to compete just yet.
Spurs would only be a slight chance, West is tough.
He needs to stay in the East were his addition will carry more weight.
So fr me, only two teams are suited for Danny, and one just traded him.

Danny was a scary man during his prime. Sad that injuries got in the way.

These buyouts are more interesting than the trade deadline.
What's interesting is that these "young" contenders with a roster full of lottery talent feels that they need another all-star/lottery pick/starter in their rotation.

Signs with the Clippers
Clips are an interesting bunch. You'd think they have infinite roster spots. They've picked up Big Baby, Granger and targeting Ben Gordon. They may be trying to challenge the Heat for # of lottery picks. Making these types of moves late in the season could prove detrimental to chemistry.
