Cole Hamels and cliff lee sign the sock covering the SP and not the ball when they see these, so bad idea.
The only time you would need this is for a player who was a jerk, and a player who was a jerk wasn't going to SS either way, so they are a waste.
as a data point, I've never had a problem getting wright to SS a ball.
As an aside, I don't think it screams dealer as much as D-bag. Dealers don't use gimmicks like that they just get 18x21s or full size bats or jerseys done. either way, it's unlikely to work on mean players and possibly ticking off nice ones.

Ya Ive never seen one of these, but I would never waste my money on that piece of junk. I know if I was a player and I saw one of these, I would not even sign it. And I think that most players would do the same. Just ask for them to sign on the sweet spot and I bet most players would be happy too. Use your words and don't got out and buy one of these
