Wow, he could be playing for a Stanley Cup. I bet he's happy. Stewart is a decent power forward. If he ever came to Detroit, he could be the next Shanny. Weird that he has bounced around a bit now.
Halak is nowhere near the goaltender that Miller is, but upside with Stewart going the other way. Trade is a bit of a push, and all dependent on how Stewart plays. Stewart average, then Blues win the trade, but the Sabres got a lot younger.Last edited by centrehice; 02-28-2014 at 08:21 PM.

Ouch. That really sucks for Halak. Guess we'll see more Carey-Jaro games eh?
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Blues just got even more miserable to play against - Ott, but not enough offence to get out of the West...didn't realize Halak was such a weak link....maybe Miller can score a few to beat the Hawks and Ducks....;P

Will depend on Stewart, at times he's been one of the best power forwards in the league, other times he's been invisible. Btw if any Sabres fans are looking for cards of him I have a few RC's/AU's to get rid of

Advantage Buffalo. Halak isn't as superb as he looked when he was in Montreal but he's decent goalie and can be very tough to beat. Plus the Sabres got a 1st rounder as well. They win this one IMHO.
