    PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

    THE ELITE SERIES SIGNATURES
With just 10 copies of each player in this 20-card insert available, these classic Elite Series signatures are iconic...and rare!

    DONRUSS SIGNATURES
This 50-card autograph insert features the ink markings of current stars and greats from the past.

    POWER PLUS SIGNATURES
A desired blend of power and speed is what sets a handful of major leaguers apart from their peers. We call it Power Plus. From Hall of Famer Rickey Hendrson to current star Mike Trout, these 20 players flash - or have flashed - speed and power in their game.

    DIAMOND KINGS
Diamond Kings highlights a current player from each of the 30 big-league clubs. Since its debut in 1982, Diamond Kings has been a consistently excellent element of Donruss' rich and storied history.

    DONRUSS GAME GEAR
We can't get you in a game, but we can bring you pieces of game-worn gear from those players who have made headlines for their on-field play.

    HALL WORTHY
All 15 players in the all new Hall Worthy insert have managed to create an overwhelming argument as to why they should one day walk through the Hall.

Time to turn back the time machine. After a hiatus of almost ten years, the basic Donruss line is back! The return of Diamond Kings and Rated Rookies among others is refreshing. Granted, the lack of logos does take away a bit, but not enough to be a major detraction to the product. The 200-card base set is easily attainable either from trading after one box or busting two. There is a mix of rookies/prospects, veterans and legends. One neat aspect (as Donruss collectors can remember) is the use of the full names of players on the back of the card.

There are four parallels for each card. Two are Silver Press Proofs (/199) and Gold Press Proofs (/99). The other two are Career Stat Line and Season Stat Line, both numbered to 400 or less. The serial number is based on the Career or Season Stat used for the player.

There are numerous inserts, some of which are serial numbered. Some of these are populars lines from previous Donruss release, while others are new to the game. Elite Dominators and Elite Series are numbered as well as former favorites, along with Team MVP (though previously known just as MVP) and The Rookies. Though it looks like it could be two separate sets, please note that Breakout is one set that combines Hitters and Pitchers. The box topper is a wonderful addition as it features one of the most popular subsets ever in Donruss history, Diamond Kings. Even better, some of these will be autographed.

Each box should yield 2 autographs and 2 relics. The relic set is called Game Gear. There is a Prime version for each card, numbered to 25 or less. The main auto set is just Signatures. However, a widely popular set that appear towards the end of the Donruss run is back, Recollection Collection. These are buyback cards from previous release in which the player has hard signed. These will be numbered to 250 or less.

    FINAL THOUGHTS

    Fun - 4/5
    Value - 4.5/5
