Are we just talking about their true rookie card years? Or, their rookie season? If so, for their true rc year, how can you forget forsberg from 91-92 and pavel bure from 90-91? Also, Scott Niedermayer is from 90-91. But 90-91 is pretty stacked, you might as well throw Igor Larinov in there. Petr Nedved, Patrice Brisebrois, Felix Potvin, Adam Graves etc.. Not hall guys, but all not bad. 91-92, I will also add in Vladimir Konstantinov, Valeri Kamensky, John Leclair, Sandis Ozolinsh (sp.) etc....

The weird thing about those 2 years is that many did not even get rookie cards until they were almost in year 3 of playing. It was a bit of a cluster fire-truck in that 3 year window.

Zhamnov was an amazing player until he turned into Mikeal Samuelsson. Sometimes these Russians get a taste of the good life and stop trying. Alexei Kovalev was a great example.
He could have been the greatest forward the game has ever seen, but he's lazier than a full-fed, fat dog on a sun porch. Kovalev managed to do as well as he did by only playing every 4th game. Guys like that should be fined by their teams.
