Have a question about player checklists
Hello, I would like to know the easiest way to get a player checklist so I can add it to my want list and keep tabs on my incoming cards of the player.
I know you can do it on Beckett but I can only seem to copy and paste it and then I have to do all the extra work to make it look nice. Is there an easier way or do I have to do that?
Thanks.

there's always the SFC inventory but again it's not easily exportable. You can use it on the site itself and it allows you to keep track of collection.
1- P.K Subban - Vlad Guerrero (Expos)
2- Montreal Canadiens Centennial auto'd (current count: 125)
3- Brian Gionta 10-11 Panini Certified Mirror Emerald, Black and Big men jersey auto

I just did it the hard way and went between, eBay, Beckett and the SCF inventory. Made it into a template and just marked them off as I grabbed them. I like how the SCF inventory lets you do photo view to see everything you have in-hand and scanned.

www.hockeydb.com
This site keeps tabs of player cards, though not always up to date immediately

The inventory system here..... you probably won't find a more complete list anywhere. Beckett is really good too. hockeydb (already mentioned) does a good job, but they don't keep track of the parallels as well as the other two I mentioned.
What you will not find, is one that's easily exportable. You're going to have to copy / paste / find & replace / do the work to make the sheet look nice.

For what you have you can very easily export your Inventory - takes two clicks and you've got a handy CSV file. That said, you'll still have to fill in the blanks.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

That could be something I could code in the future. Now you can export the entry you have done in the inventory but not the one you do not have a entry. SO I guess I could code in the player search a action link that would lead to a player checklist. Just will not have time to code probably before the next autumn. I will be busy all spring and summer.
But the inventory does have great feature to maintain a player collection. If you compare it with something you maintain on your own computer, you will find it will always be difficult to update it with every release.
In the inventory, if you collect a player, the best way to see a list is to go into the Player indexing (Search) section, find your player and then click on Add to PC link. This will add tow link on the main My Inventory tab page, under PC fast link:
It will look like this
Alex Galchenyuk 31/422
Alexei Emelin 19/160
Andrei Kostitsyn 72/403
Brendan Gallagher 10/197
Carey Price 586/2750
Mainly the player name is a link to all his cards and then the second link is a link to all the stats from this player, cards wise. This second page will not only give you how many cards, how many rookies, serial, memorabilia and signatures that you have but also a link to maintain a want list. The want list link works this way:
Once you added all the cards you do have in the inventory, click on the Synchronise and it will add on the want list, all the card you do not have in the inventory. Then let's say you added cards and forgot to remove the want list attribute you can go back on that page and it will remove the attribute of any cards you added and left the want list attribute and keep the want list accurate.
0 card(s) on want list - Synchronise - Delete - Match available cards from your want list for this player
You also have on the player stats page a link called: View the player image map
This page is like a table and if you added image you can see the one you have and the one you are missing this way:

Thanks for all the information. It looks like I will have to do it the old fashion way. Thanks again!

I build player checklists by copy/pasting the SCF player inventory into Microsoft Excel. There are a number of steps involved and it does take some time. However, it provides a more accurate list than Beckett or Hockeydb and it is definitely faster than typing the entire list myself. The time it takes depends on how much information you want in your list.
I don't want to bog down this thread with the instructions, but I can send them to anyone who is interested. Just send me a PM.Hidden Content
