Serious question
A guy tried to insult me on another website and I fired back at him. I am not going to repeat what I said to him because it is not suitable to post here but I basically told him off and took shots at his manhood. I don't have any problem with homosexuals obviously but will is it or will it become unacceptable to tell someone off who came out the mouth at you the wrong way?

Not sure I understand what you're saying? It is unacceptable for anyone to be bad mouthing anyone else on a forum especially if they are slinging mud & using insulting terms towards the other person. I got suspended on BO for 2 weeks over intimidation & a death threat. I did learn my lesson as I do enjoy frequenting the forums & trading when I can.

If you called him a derogatory name related to a man's sexuality then that is unacceptable. And it also indicates that you do have a problem with homosexuals.

From what I can tell, everyone has become so thin-skinned that a little honesty and bluntness is more than most can handle. God forbid they are rude and you call them on it.

It was on facebook so almost anything goes. I didn't call the guy any derogotory words but I did make reference to him performing homosexual acts.
Edit: Actually I did it just wasn't the slur that people call homosexuals. I did call him a female dog though.Last edited by mrveggieman; 05-14-2014 at 01:44 PM.

I think I found the problem, Facebook! It is that, an anything goes between 2 shadows that know diddly about each other.

Okay, still means you have a problem with homosexuals.

I don't but I do respect your opinion this time around. Gosh it's getting damn near impossible to find politically correct insults to hurl at people.

We do not call people things that we admire when we are in an argument with them. We call people things we detest. The fact that you think what you are saying is an insult shows how you feel about that name or act.

I'm not going to go as far as say I admire the act of homosexuality but I don't have a problem with homosexuals doing their thing. I told the guy to do something that would be an insult for a straight man but problably wouldn't bother a homosexual. You can use your imagination.
