why do the spx rookies book so poorly?
you know the ones, unnumbered, ugly line across the front. dont know how to post a picture or i would. even the galchenyuk sells on feebay for a buck or two

Because they're not the cards we want, but the cards Upper Deck feels we deserve.
The real rookies out of SPx that people have wanted, and this even predates the original UD Exclusive, are the auto jersey versions. That's the card that people really want. It is beyond befuddling why they thought it would be a good idea to insert 1:1 base numbered cards with no serial numbering or any kind of scarcity into the set.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

so by ignoring these cards its like a protest and maybe UD will learn and only do this the one year?

I don't think it is a matter of ignoring for protest sake, The true SPx rc we all have come to expect ia a #'d ARJ, the non # non anything fugly card is simply worth what it is, not much. I did buy one of my PC guy for a few $ in hopes of making use of that white stripe, having it signed IP.

Interested in anything hockey, any team, mostly less common rookie cards and anything with a Team Canada jersey.

Yep. Because they're the cards with the lowest number (first to appear) and the highest print run (unnumbered, unlike the AU/JSY) they get the designation. Which is dumb.
