Honest Name Mistakes By Simply Not Listening
When I was a kid, I though that the Czech great that played in the 60's and 70's ….. Vaclav Nedomansky.
I thought his full name initially was Nedo Mansky. Lol
Years later and in this century a player came along named: Duvie Westcott.
I thought his given name was the same as the young Dr. Howser's - Doogie

I remember being totally confused once while watching some game where Luca Sbisa played on one team and Jason Spezza on the other.

And I thought I had bad hearing lol
A lot of the times I cannot hear a damn thing they're saying, unless I see the number and know the players, which I know most of, I have no idea who is making the play. But thats just me. I couldnt begin to list the names of players where I thought something else was said.Master List: Hidden Content

My father and I once spent two periods wondering why every time the Coyotes got the puck, one of them inevitably passed it to "his sister"
I had to look up the roster and find Brad "Isbister" on there.
