Wow, Howie Meeker ? Wonder when the last time was that he was on a card, if ever? I remember him from Hockey Night In Canada intermissions in the mid-late 70's as an analist. He loved the game of hockey and loved talking about it.

Could be very interesting. However, what will happen to the stanley cup since the nhl has a copyright on both the image and the word?

Is ITG going to try and dispute it or something? Did they get a limited licence for the use of those imagesand word (hey, maybe thats a way to get a foot in the door uys!)? Or will his be a set of "Lord Stanley's mug" without a single picture or mention of stanley cup?

If it helps, ITG, I would be looking at purchasing those lord stanley mug cards if it had images of the stanley cup throuh various periods of it s history.
