How does everyone feel about Sp Authentic 11-12 as a product
Would this product be worth a bust for 72.95 a box? Or around 820 for a case? It seems like a lot of base but there are cool on card autos and sweet patches to be hit.

If you're thinking investment wise, not a great year and chances are better that you will lose. If you just love busting for a reasonable price, it's worth it!

No not now. At the time it was a solid break in fact I opened a case and I was happy with it. Now the Future Watch autos are not selling at all. Landeskog #2 rookie that year can be had for under $30. The other top guys are around $12 and under. It really would be a waste of money if you buy it. I think its a high price for what you will receive. I would recommend something newer. just my thoughts

10-11 FWA would have been good if Seguin hadn't gone to Dallas. Not a bad year as a whole, tho. There are a lot of good RC's:
Hall
Eberle
Seguin
Subban
Skinner
Other noteworthies:
B. Schenn
Kadri
Stepan
Shattenkirk
Ekman-Larsson
Bobrovsky
Good year all in all, but would have been better if Seguin was still a Bruin.

why would it be so much better if he was on Boston. Is it a better market and hockey town in Boston?

Boston sells better than Dallas. All original 6 teams sell very well as they have a long history. People expected Seguin to win cups with Boston. His cards were selling well until he got traded. Not many people like buying a rookie when he's shown in a different sweater than what you collect. Dallas fans don't want a seguin rookie pictured in a boston jersey. Some do, just for the sake of having his rookie card. And then there are those collectors who like to show the movement of players, jersey to jersey to jersey. All in all, seguin cards have dropped.
There are some wicked autos in 10-11 SP Authentic. I was happy pulling the Roy Marks of Distinction. I honestly think those particular cards from that year are some of the sexiest auto cards on the market.
Is it worth it to buy a case? Secondary market.. not likely. You could say that with basically any product though. It's really up to you. I wish you luck in any decision you make.

Just so you know, Subban is a redemption in 10-11 SPA. So even if you get one now, the redemption will be expired. But 10-11 is still a good rookie year.
