Anyone ever been to the NHL Draft? Insight needed...

So, the draft this year is in Philly, and given the Sabres will be picking 2 (or 1), I was thinking about shooting down to check it out. But what is there? Anyone ever been to one? What sort of experience did you have? Is it worth it? Any info would be helpful! Thanks

i went to the draft in pittsburgh and had a blast. There are tons of vendors and a lot of them give away freebies. Most of the players are literally walking around the rink. After the event was over literally everyone walked out the main entrance. I got a lot of photographs with coaches, gms and players. I recommend doing it at least once as a hockey fan

That is what I was thinking....was thinking about shooting down Friday night, staying at a buddy's for the night, then hang Saturday for a spell. I kind of want to do it as a fan of the game...just to see it, be a part of it. Anyone else?

Went last year to walk around outside. Met like 30 draftees and former players along with Donovan McNabb as well. Didn’t have a ticket to the draft but just outside was pretty cool.
