great looking card. GLW, but I think the $2,000 mark scared a lot of people off. I know you didn't ask for 2k, but probably spooked a lot of people. BCG and PSA 9's are selling for $350. But I haven't even seen a 9.5 till today, AWESOME Card.

I agreed that 2k price tag may scare most collectors, but not to serious high-end collectors. BGS 10 has been sold at $65k. In between of $65k to $350 by 1.0 grade down. $2k sound reasonable for this card. Beside, Joe Montana is an icon in SF and more likely someone is still looking for one. BGS population for this card is 66, but very rare to find one on market since few years. Thank you for positive comment about this card. :)

I found a source that other 1981 Topps Joe Montana BGS 9.5 has been sold in Heritage Auction for $2,270.50 on Nov 7, 2013. Here's source...
