Canada to U.S. question
Quick question. Usually when selling on here I like to only sell within Canada simply because I am not sure how to calculate postage for sending to the States. When I sell within Canada, I just slip the cards in a bubble mailer with the correct postage and put it in the mailbox, but for sending to the U.S. do I have to take it to the post office and have some sort of customs sticker put on it or can I just send it normally, just with added postage?

I haven't filled out a customs form in years. Just mark that you're sending photos on the mailer and you're set. Postage after the recent increase is about $2.80 or so.

Im in the US and rarely receive an item with a customs form. Sellers slap a few stamps on the bubble mailer and it arrives in 8 days

I must be the unlucky one. Only once have I not had to slap on a customs form. And I say the same thing every time (photos).
Slapping on the customs form will set you back 4$ as opposed to the 3$.

I have been doing the same thing for years:
Put sufficient postage on the envelope, and drop it in the mailbox. I have never filled out a customs form.... I never go into the post office (unless I'm out of stamps) and have never had a problem.
I've got a bunch of $1.10 stamps at home still, I think the last few I sent to the USA... single card bubble mailer.... I put $2.90 on them. (the new $1.80 that should be used for bubble mailer within Canada, plus one of those older ones) They got there safe and sound.

Customs forms are not required to the USA on small bubble envelopes no matter what the Shopper's Drug Mart lady tells you, they simply are not required unless you are exceeding the USA Duty Free maximum of $350.00.
They are still envelopes and not packages, and once they arrive into the USPS they don't get stolen like they do to Quebec.
