New guy here from Pennsylvania
Hello,
New guy here just looking for tips i have a pretty large collection but most if it is from the wax pack area. Ive had it for a few years now just recently got big into collection. Starting out with sorting all mine out by make and year and putting them in binders and selling or trading all the duplicates to make complete sets of mine. Looking for tips and pointers and also i was wondering who everyone uses to get cards graded because i have some that are worth way more if they get graded high enough. Always looking for cards at the right price!

Welcome to the site!
As far as grading goes usually PSA is best for vintage cards while BGS is best for newer cards. That's if you are going to resell them. If not you might want to go a different route for your PC.Selling all my cards here updated as of May------------> Hidden Content

I was wondering what are some of the things i should do. Ive been going through my cards and sorting them into binders. Should i make a list of what i have and what im missing with that set or wait until all my cards are sorted out? Also what does a grade of 10 look like because some of the cards i have are to me in perfect condition corners arent bent no scratches on them any tips or pointers?

Welcome to SCF!
Ive heard that putting your cards into binders is more likely to damage the cards, most people prefer to keep them in toploaders. I do not know anything about the grading aspect but I am a big football set collector. I keep all my sets together with a list of what I am missing. There are set building forums depending on which sport or sports you are going for and I would suggest using those to help with your collection.

After doing some quick research i realize yes binders are not the best idea good thing they havent been in them too long. Now i have plenty of the 1 cent top loaders just the film pretty much will that suffice if im just going to place them back in the cardboard boxes i have?
