Robin Yount Rejection
I thought I would share this failure of mine partly because it's useful and partly because it's somewhat funny.
I still need Robin Yount for my HOF project. If it all possible, I first try to obtain everyone TTM. If that fails, I try other avenues.
I had not tried Robin Yount until recently. I put my wife up to writing the LOR on her personalized Miller-Coors stationery. We included $20 cash. I figured the stationery might help get a success, as well as a woman's name and handwriting, but nope. Yount still rejected the request. Oh well. It was worth a shot, even if it didn't pan out.
I'd like to hear how others have gotten him TTM. I would assume postmarking from WI, which we didn't do, is key.

I got an auto pen from him years ago. I would get it IP.

He seems to be IP or signings only.

There were a handful of Yount successes recorded in 2013 in the TTM Manager. I thought it was worth the postage to try. The successes must be based on something. Without the successes reflected in the TTM Manager, I would never have attempted it.

The two most recent Yount successes in 2013, per TTM Manager, were not preprints.
