Hawks have too much fire-power, not to mention the referees in their back pocket. Anybody that plays the Hawks from here on out, must also beat the referees.

Are you delusional? The Blues had more power plays than the Hawks the last series. STL had 29 PP chances compared to the Hawks 20 PP chances, and lets not forget STL had 6 straight power plays in game 6 alone. The Hawks are one of the least penalized teams in the league and STL forced the Hawks into taking a lot of dumb penalties this last series. Most Blues fans will probably tell you that there lack of being able to capitalize on the power play was a major factor they lost the series because lord knows they had plenty of opportunities.
Did you actually watch any of the STL-CHI series or were you too busy watching Boston dismantle the Redwings?

Not delusional what so ever. I am not a one-eyed fan. The Stanley Cup champs have always had the rub, and will always get the rub.
The last Kings vs Sharks game is a good example. The Kings were given the benefit of the doubt and a penalty was called, when a Shark was hauled down, the penalty was not always called. Why, because the Kings have been to the mountain.
I watch every game every year, I have 3 TV and PIP on the go. Nice try at the Red Wings dig, it won't affect me one bit as I watch with both eyes open, and don't have one covered with an eye-patch.
St. Louis was out-coached and had a goaltender that the could not stop a Zorb, yet the Fat Slob Hitchcock would not replace him. You get what you play for. Start a sieve, expect to lose.Last edited by centrehice; 05-02-2014 at 04:37 PM.

What does the LA-SJ series or Miller sucking as a goalie have anything to do with the Hawks having the refs in their so called back pocket? If you watch so much hockey like you claim then here are 2 instances where the calls did not favor the Hawks.
In game one in the second OT while the Hawks were already on the PP, Shattenkirk flipped a puck out of his own end over the glass that should of resulted in a delay of game penalty that would of been a 5 on 3 for the Hawks. It was a close play that was easy to miss by the blind eye but replays showed it should of been called delay of game and Shattenkirk even put his head down immediately afterword knowing that he should of been called. It was not called in the Hawks favor thus resulting in Q grabbing his you know what and then getting fined. If the Hawks had the refs in their back pocket then why was the borderline call not go in the Hawks favor.
The second one was the Seabrook hit on Backes in game 2, right afterword when the whistle went, Steen threw off his gloves and immediately went after Seabs and started punching him. Steen could of easily been called for The only call on the play was the Seabrook hit, Steen did not even get a 2 minute roughing or unsporstmanlike.
The officiating has been brutal in every series, but if the Hawks do end up beating the Wild in the series it will have nothing to do about getting all the calls.

St. Louis did not get better calls. They lost because they have no go forward, and didn't get any goaltending. They won 2 games only and that's because they outplayed the Hawks not because of any refereeing decisions.

Jeez, I never stated that STL got better calls. All I was saying is that the Hawks do not get any preferential treatment from the refs just because they have won the cup or "have been to the mountain" like you stated. You make a dumb comment like the Wild are gonna have to beat the Hawks and the refs then you are gonna get called out for it. The Bruins won the cup 3 years ago so are they gonna have the refs in their back pocket too. If that's the case then what happened last night when the Bruins were shorthanded twice in OT and lost the game by Subban's PP goal? Oh I know, the shells the Bruins players wore last night must of not had back pockets in them huh.

How many times can you shoot yourself before you are able to compete? Stars have lost all discipline.
