Totaler Krieg.
Look that one up. Bloodbath. I hope we see a return to Old Time Hockey. Bench clearing brawls every game. Games ending with only 2-3 players left on the bench.
I care so little for these 2 teams that I hope they destroy each other. I hope that Perry and Brown spear each other in the face and the nuts repeatedly.

Kings out to an early lead, and an early shots on goal lead. Ducks answer back with only their 2nd shot on goal, Getzlaf making Quick look like a pee wee and sliding the puck to Belesky into a gaping net.
1-1 end of the 1st period.
Kings injured on the back-end. Regehr injured in the 1st period, not report yet. Willie Mitchell injured in the last series, did not travel over to Anaheim.
Mitchell is made of glass like Mike Green. Sheesh, these guys are bad luck.Last edited by centrehice; 05-03-2014 at 09:09 PM.

Ducks took the lead into the 3rd, and looked like everything to be going to win.
Kings pull Quick, and Gaborik bats the puck out of the air, and into the back of the net with 7 seconds left. Game 1 is going to Overtime.

Gaborik deflects the shot/pass from Kopitar and wins it with less than 8 minutes in the 1st Overtime. Ducks has some early pressure, but could not beat Quick.
Game 1 to the Kings on the road, they lead the series 1-0. Wow, what a series this is going to be.

This is the sole reason that I'm quietly rooting for the Ducks.
One of my favourite cards ever made right here:

SAKU FOREVER!

Kings have found another gear between 4th and 5th.
I was about to say that so far this is the Marian Gaborik series, as he scored and took the Kings out to an early 1 goal lead, he had 3 of the 4 goals in this series, then Martinez made it 2-1 Kings, following the Maroon goal from the Ducks.

It's do or die really for the Ducks tonight. They probably would rather start with nonsense, however nonsense will put them down 3-0.
I think tonight, if Perry crashes and runs over Quick, you will see a maelstrom of violence toward him and rightly so. Not a Kings fans, as Dustin Brown is a punk, but Perry proving to be the league's largest to this point in the playoffs.
This might prove to be the hardest fought game in this year's playoffs. Gawd knows the Kings/Sharks 7th game sure wasn't, as only one team showed up.
