    97-98 BAP Question

So I'm working on a "rainbow" in this set and recently found out there was at least 1 type of parallel I didn't know previously existed. Before I get that last card (one day) and proudly proclaim victory I wanted to make sure I know all of the different parallels:

    Base Card
    Base Card Auto
    Base Card Die Cut Auto
    Foil Auto
    Foil Die Cut Auto
    Foil Prismastic Die Cut Auto

Is there a regular foil card? Is there a regular foil card auto (sans die-cut)? Is there a regular prismatic auto/card??

Oh boy. What did I get myself into.

    Base Card
    Base Card Auto
    Base Card Die-Cut Auto

Prism Auto - You called it Foil
    Prism Die-Cut Auto - Foil Die-Cut
Prismatic Die-Cut Auto - only 100 sets of each made. Holo out punching of the letters.

There is no foil card without an auto. That comes in the following year, 1998-99. The categories are as I have listed above.

I have opened up a few boxes of this, I always got one Prismatic D/C Auto, but I never got a plain Die-Cut Auto. I don't know if I have even seen one.

This was actually the parallel that was the impetus for starting this thread. I present to you the 97-98 BAP Die-Cut auto:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chris-Terreri-Pinnacle-Be-a-Player-die-cut-Player-cut-out-30-/201080116428?pt=US_Hockey_Trading_Cards&hash=item2 ed14f14cc

which will be mine because it's the first I've seen and had no idea it existed ;)

    Thanks for the clarification centerhice!

Shouldn´t it be only 4 variations that were inserted into this product?

    Base
    Base Auto
    Foil DieCut Auto
    Prismatic DieCut Auto

I have never seen a base die cut auto like to one in the auction.

here´s agood read about this set:

Very good read Svetlov. Thank you for posting that link. Seems that die cut Terreri may be an error or an oddball. Didn't know the interesting story behind Pinnacle and the BAP brand name. Cool stuff.

Could that Terreri actually be the Foil DieCut Auto? Took an iPhone photo of my Mogilny next to a white wall and it looks like this:

    Looks a lot alike?

MOGO89 you were bang on. Messages the seller and they confirm the card had a silver shiny front. Dang! Wanted an error card! Oh well :)
