watched the game, when is Hockey Canada gonna wake up and smell the coffee. cant just show up and expect to win. other countries have learned how to win - by playing a disciplined team game. (are you listening Carlyle). Olympics 1980 the best can be beaten by a bunch of "nobodies". no insult to the American team intended because thats exactly what they were back then. but they played hard. they fought and won. theme from Rocky in the background. why not go back to a Team Canada that plays together all year. could play in the AHL and enter tournaments as Canada. it would be a team. and they'd be paid by their NHL affiliates. great learning opportunity. but no egos come first -- remember Nurse, Domi, Brown etc......
oh yeah and Reimer kept them in the game early, while Canada smiled for the cameras and posed. two PP goals. you cant blame him

Kudos to France, especially Stephane Da Costa, for a great game. Canada went in expecting to blow them out, and they got the kind of surprise they deserved.

ehhhh, they took an extremely young team this year. Still shouldn't be losing to France though. Good to see them bounce back vs Slovakia today.
