    ITG H&P 07-08 Auto slabbed..

I am collecting the 07-08 H&P auto set and I just got one in the mail, so I am down to only 2 needed. The one I just received is a slabbed card that says...

    Spring Expo 2013
    ITG Priority Signatures 1/2
    ...name
    2007-08 Heroes and Prospects

Anyway, to me, it looks like it is just a pack pulled auto and then slabbed? Is there anything special about it? I don't collect slabbed or graded cards at all. Is there any reason for me not to bust it out and put it with my regular set? Thanks...Justin

Without seeing a pic I couldn't say for sure, but is there anything on the card itself that says "Spring Expo" with the little silver hockey guy on it?

No. There are no special markings at all. It looks like the other 100+ autos in the set.

At the Spring Expo 2013 ITG was giving away Priority Signings Autos for opening a box of Heroes and Prospects. They were all slabbed and the details are at the link:

Yeah. One of ITG's giveaways that Expo.... with the purchase of a box of H&P.... was an old H&P auto, slabbed with an Expo 2/2, or 1/1, or 5/5, or whatever.

The card is basically a buyback autograph, from a past H&P product. It's no different than the pack pulled version. The only thing that makes it unique is the slab.

Cool. Thanks for the link. I at least know how and where they came from. It does just seem kind of pointless to slab a card that books for 40 and has white showing a bit on 2 of the corners, so it's not even in that great of condition.
