    Dual RC class

Simple question. Would like to start a nice debate.

What is the best dual rookie class? Crosby/Ovechkin or MacKinnon/take your pick?

Answers can range from a collector's point of view or strictly talent.

Personally, I think 13-14 has much more depth. In 05-06, I can't remember seeing this many rookies making such an impact as 13-14 rookies have this year. Rookies were key in many teams' success. From Colorado to Montreal...any team that had any success had rookies. As a Canucks fan, Jensen was the only bright spot this year...and he was left in the minors most of the season...

To sum it up, I think the 13-14 rookies class is much better!

    Agree? Disagree?

I'd have a tough time going against 05-06.

Crosby, Ovechkin, Lundqvist, Phaneuf, Perry, Getzlaf, Parise, Vanek, Steen, Koivu, Ward, Richards, Carter, Seabrook, Keith, Suter...

Not to mention other depth guys such as Rinne, Ladd, Green, Gorges, Filppula, Meszaros, Stempniak, Penner, Howard etc.

Obviously it will be a while until we can tell which is better, but there are a huge amount of guys who have played 300+ games from that dual class RC year.

I'd go with 2005-06 as well.. It's too early to tell who's going to do what from this Double Class..

Way to early to tell about this year's class! Drouin hasn't even played yet, he will amazing. Mackinnon, Johnson, Palat, Hamilton, Trouba, Krug, Tarasenko, Gallagher have already proven to be impact players. Than you have Nichushkin and Hertl, the next Jagr and Teemu? Toffoli and Pearson...this was also Scheifele's rookie year....Maata, Gibson, Jones....Anyway hope it is this years as I have a lot of nice cards!

...Monahan, 18, plays like a 21 yr old...Lot of potential in this class...Grandlund....list is endless it seems!!

That Link Gaetz was one heck of a player. Guy could score at will.

lol, I was going to mention Domi, but that reminded me of his son Max who appears to have all the skills to be a very good player as well from this class...

Possible, alcohol is the not so hidden drug of choice for ages in hockey...and if you have parents who name you Link...yikes....
