6/26/15 Bakersfield vs. Lancaster Jethawks, affiliate of the Astros.

Lancaster finally made their first trip to Bakersfield. Lots of very nice guys on this team. A.J. Reed is a beast. 19 HR's, 70 RBI's and a .339 avg right now. He is leading all of the minor leagues in RBI's and may very well win the Cal League triple crown. Here is some stuff I got.

7/6/15 Stockton Ports at Bakersfield Blaze

Stockton came to town for the last time this season so I tried to finish all the cards I had left.

Franklin Barreto, A's #2 propect. He is tearing it up right now.


Matt Chapman, A's #3 propect. He is probably the toughest guy to get in the Cal League this year. Has gone from 2 per person to 1, and doesn't take much time to sign.
Dylan Covey, A's #22 prospect and was an all-star.
Phil Coke, he passed over a couple yankees rookie cards of his to only sign a tigers card. Maybe he doesn't like the yankees.

On July 18th I went to Derek and David Carr's local football camp. They are both super-nice guys. I never thought I'd root for the Raiders, but I am definitely pulling for Derek, at least when they aren't playing the Broncos.

July 28th High Desert Mavericks

I was hoping to see Lewis Brinson since he was on the DL when the Mavericks came to town earlier this season.
He is now the Rangers #4 prospect.
He hit 2 homeruns in this game and was moved up to double-A a couple days later.

8/8/15 Modesto Nuts vs Bakersfield Blaze.

This game was Derek Carr jersey giveaway night so we got a couple of those and they are really pretty nice.
David Carr was on hand to throw out the first pitch.
He was real nice and he signed 3 8x10 pics for me.


Next I got 2 8x10 pics signed of Blaze player Tyler O'neill, he is leading the Cal League in home runs. Very strong guy, also recently won gold medal with team Canada in the Pan Am games.
