Thank you sir. :)
4/22/17 Fresno Grizzles vs Salt Lake Bees
Didn't go after any of the Bees, already have Kaleb Cowart, Dustin Ackley and a couple other so didn't feeling like chasing anyone else. Sadly the Angels have a really weak system and not a lot of big name players in AAA.
Grizzles are usually a pretty good signing team at home, but tonight only a couple signed before the game, and only a couple others after. I can never get Tyler White, Brady Rodgers or Preston Tucker. I've literally been lugging around the same 3 Preston Tucker cards for 3 years off and on. Anyway, I still did ok. Would've been nice to get some more time by the player parking lot post game before they kicked me out of the stadium, but it is what it is.
AJ Reed & Derek Fisher. Funny thing that Brett Phillips would be on the Fresno roster as well if he didn't get traded.
You can always count on AJ Reed.
Derek Fisher
Tony Kemp & Teoscar Hernandez
Kemp is 1 per, Fisher and Hernandez will sign more than 1, but don't sign duplicates.

4/29/17 Lancaster Jethawks vs Rancho Cucamonga Quakes
Finally a really good night. It's nice to finally have had a really successful night. When you have to drive 90+ minutes to see a game, and 90+ minutes home afterwards, it really stinks to not do well. Luckily the High-A California league can often make up for the shortcomings of the AAA Pacific Coast League. Players are just so much more relaxed and accessible.
Here is what I had signed Pregame:
Brian Mundell - really nice guy. Came out early and signed for anyone who wanted.
Garrett Hampson
Brendan Rodgers signed 1 for about 20 people
Post game inside stadium:
Forrest Wall - Still really nice.
Peter Lambert
Brendan Rodgers - Signed longer than anyone else, of course most people wanted him.
Post game outside stadium:
The Quakes were really relaxed and many signed a bunch. I only missed D.J. Peters who came out when I was with another player.
Yusniel Diaz
Will Smith and Drew Jackson. Smith only signs 1.
Walker Beuhler
Yadier Alvarez

5/13/17 Lancaster Jethawks vs Stockton Ports
Had a good time at the game last night. Here is what I was able to get:
Brendan Rodgers 2017 Bowman /5 that I got a good deal on, & Garrett Hampson
Brendan Rodger 8x10
Brian Mundell 2017 Bowmans, one is /25.
Logan Shore, signed 3 of 5.
A.J. Puk, signed 2 of 8.
Stockton Ports game used ball:
Ball has:
# Name 21 Evan Manarino 20 Joey Wagman 27 Will Gilbert 31 A.J. Puk 18 Chris Iriart 46 Nolan Blackwood 29 Carlos Navas 17 Santiago Chavez 26 Andrew Tomasovich 13 Skye Bolt 34 Logan Shore 15 Eli White 4 Seth Brown 38 Tyler Ramirez 11 Branden Cogswell
Last, but not least... At the gas station after the game I ran into Jethawks player Mylz Jones, who went to the same college as me. Talked to him for a minute and had him sign a ticket.

5/22/17 Fresno Grizzlies vs. Memphis Redbirds
Went to the game with my wife so I had a little help with these. I have been experimenting with a medium and fine point pen lately to see what looks best on what cards. We did ok I guess, but triple-A players can be a pain. Carson Kelly, for instance, did not even play in this game, but still ignored everyone who asked him for his autograph. I was told that he didn't sign at all for the entire series, so he seems like a turd. Here is what we got:
Paul DeJong - would sign 2 at a time.
Patrick Wisdom - Would only sign 1.
Harrison Bader - Signed 2 after the game. Didn't sign before but he appeared to be having equipment issues so that's probably why.
Luke Weaver - He was charting and signed all 5 cards we had between innings.
AJ Reed - Signed all 4 cards I brought. Cool as ever.

5/26/17 Lancaster Jethawks vs Inland Empire 66'ers
It is always nice to get to experience the kind and generous High-A ball players in the Cal league after seeing a few rude triple-A players.
Here is what I was able to get one this night:
Brendan Rodgers & Garrett Hampson
Brian Mundell rainbow
Kyle Survance Jr.
Taylor Ward
Connor Justus
Matt Thaiss
Every one of these guys was super-nice in person.

6/2/17 Fresno Grizzlies vs Tacoma Rainiers
It is nice to do well at a triple-A game. The Tacoma players were very nice for the most part, the only one of them to deny me was by Dan Volgelbach. He said he doesn't sign after a loss. A bunch of other Tacoma players did however, so Dan is just being lazy. Here is how I did.
Tyler White
Teoscar Hernandez
Tony Kemp & Colin Moran
AJ Reed
Francis Martes - glad to see he will do 8 at a time as I've only caught him one other time
And now a few players who I got to see play for Bakersfield the past 2 seasons
Emilio Pagan
Andrew Moore
Tyler O'Neill

Vogelbach has been a jerk about signing since he was in low A at Kane County, regardless of whether it was a win, loss, or before the game.
Otherwise, great job!Working on autographed 1987 Topps Baseball set:

6/19/17 California League All-Star Fan Fest & Homerun Derby in Visalia
Anyone who went to the all-star game in Rancho Cucamonga 2 years ago, or Lake Elsinore last year knows these events can be crazy. This event was crazy as well, but for other reasons. One thing that seemed strange was how few people there were. Last year it took the entire 40 available minutes to get through the line to get Ian Happ's autograph. This year the longest line was maybe 2 minutes for Brendan Rodgers. There were so few people however that Rodgers and the rest of the Jethawks got bored and left after only 20 minutes as no one was at their table.
The last 2 all star games also included the Carolina league, but beginning this year it is California league only, so that is probably one reason for less people showing up. Another is that the actual all-star game was not until Tuesday, with the fan fest and derby on Monday. Also, it was very hot, around 106 degrees for much of the event.
Admission was $20, and there was an option to get in an hour early with a $10 VIP pass. This allowed you to get early access to all of the players for autographs, and this was definitely the way to go. In retrospect I wish I had tried for more Rodgers signatures early or had help with me as he was doing his normal 1 per, and after Lancaster left their table, he did not really sign anything else the rest of the day until he was on his way out after the event in the parking lot. I can't really complain, as it was nice for Rodgers to even show up at the all star event at all after knowing he was being moved up, and despite limiting his signing a lot, he is quite gracious and generous with his time for a big star. As many people expected Rodgers was called up to double A after the game, along with teammate Brian Mundell.
I was able to get a lot of signatures on this day, over 150 in all. I actually could've gotten more, but I left cards at home as I wanted to have room in my binder for the all star set cards. Surprisingly however there was no all star set produced this year, which was a disappointment. I would've bought 2 of them. Also, this left a lot of the players with nothing to sign much of the time. Anyway, here is how I did...
Brendan Rodgers cards. His hand was kind of shaky on 1.
Peter Lambert
Garrett Hampson
Brian Mundell
DJ Peters
Will Smith
Eric Lauer
Josh Naylor - Only signs 1 at a time this year, and people were saying he ignores graphers much of the time.
Cal Quantrill - Like Rodgers he is basically 1 per, and like Rodgers he did not come out for his non-VIP table signing.
Nick Neidert
Braden Bishop - Nice to see a former Blaze playing having a good season.
Skye Bolt and Casey Meisner
Aramis Garcia
Bryan Reynolds
Ryan Howard
All Star Program - 53 signatures, almost everyone!
