At the World Hockey Championships. USA also sent packing by Czech Republic.

Rinne was solid in a 3-2 win.

I certainly don't mind losing to Finland, but I didn't like losing through mistakes.

Scrivens let in a very soft tying goal, and Myers (who also had an all-around bad game) made a horrible giveaway on the winner.

I'm so sad that Canada is out, but have lots of respect for Finland, on paper they didn't have a super strong team, but are playing real good.

Tyler Myers, still somehow getting progressively worse since his Calder Trophy winning season.

Congrats to the Finns though, they played hard and deserved to win.

At the same time though, I often find it hard to get excited for the World Championship. I'm certainly not trying to take anything away from the other teams, but my interest in this tournament is far behind the WJC, let alone the Olympics.

I think this is something like the 5th consecutive QF loss...:/ A shame those 2 blunders for an otherwise well played game. Scheifele sniped a beauty that should have been the game winner.
