His first goal in 57 games. He's unstoppable !!!

I'm sorry I just had to! As soon as I saw the goal I instantly remembered the Jungle Grip thread.

    No worries…..

I had to replay the goal 4-5 times just so that my eyes weren't deceiving me. He actually roofed it !!

After a 2 day hiatus back for game 2, if the 3rd period of game 1 was any indication this one could be over quickly, meaning the series. Lundqvist can only take the Rangers so far, I thought the Kings would be the team that was tired but outshooting the Rangers 20-3 in the 3rd disproved that. With all that being said the Rangers still almost managed to steal game 1 if not for a great save by Quick with about 30 seconds left in the game this series could be 1-0 Rangers instead. I don't see any blowouts in this series as the goaltending is just too good, my prediction for tonight's game 2-1 Rangers.

Kings hitting very hard. Girardi just got railed. Kings hammering them at centre ice. Good sign for the Kings, but the Rags are skating. Nash has been on top of them on the fore-check.

Kings take a tripping penalty in the offensive zone. Rangers to the power play.

Rangers score at even strength and get the all important first goal.

I am almost scared that they are leading, got my eastern conference finals champs shirt in the mail today, if they win it stays on till next game if they lose back to my old 94 cup hat.

2-0 After 1, why do I feel like I'm watching a replay of game 1. I don't think any lead is safe but it would be great if the Rangers score the next goal.

Apparently if the Rangers want to win they should allow the Kings to score first. That'd completely screw up their game plan and New York would cruise to victory. 4-4, dear god.

It amazes me why they can't review goals for penalties, that 3rd LA goal.....obviously i'm biased but looked like goalie interference to me
