Could this work to get Peyton Manning?

So I have been trying to get Peyton Manning again after my signed card went missing. I have sent 3 times in the past couple months and gotten 2 back unsigned . I am so upset because that signed card was my prized possession. I am trying to find a way to get him to sign my card and I have been thinking hard about it. I drew a picture on the envelope but that did not work. So I thought I would try a signature conformation card. Do you guys think this would work? Should I try it?

It's hit or miss, I would just send another closer to the mandatory OTAs for the Broncos. Drawing a picture or a signature confirmation will not work any better than a plain envelope. It's not like Peyton Manning is actually walking into the post office to get letters we send to him, in my opinion.

For your 1st class letter you would send it certified mail with return receipt. You would have to check the "restricted delivery" box on the card, or anyone at team HQ or his Foundation can sign for it. That alone costs you about $11, and no, I don't think it would work...you would probably get it back marked "refused" as he would never even see it.

FYI Delivery Confirmation is for packages, Certified w/ ret. rec't is the First Class equivlant to it.

I'm sorry to hear about your lost prized possession, that really blows. My advice is to keep trying TTM the way you have been doing, even sending EARLY to training camp. Overall, I am 4/12 in getting him TTM, incl. 1 generous donation to his foundation. Good luck, and keep us informed.

Thanks for the advice. I guess I will just keep on trying him until I get a success! I wish he was still as good of a signer as a couple of years ago. I did not even send a card or a SASE last time and I still got a success! I think he is a very nice guy and wishes he could return everyones, but since he is one of the best football players, but I think the number of requests that he recieves just overwhelms him. I just hope I can be one of the lucky ones to get him back!
