I like breaking boxes/cases but only opened 8 boxes for the 2012-13 season. I figured to save my $$$ for 2013-14 so I did very little trading for the year because I was not building any new sets. I find if you have a primary goal ie building a set of a product most people open then trading is easier thus more fun.
Enjoy the summer !!!

That could be part of my problem. My wantlist is so small I haven't been able to find anything to trade for that I actually want.

you just need to break some wax when you can and enjoy a new aspect of the hobby. Singles can become pretty boring after a while.

I typically just limit myself to collecting the young gun sets because I cannot afford to buy a lot of boxes and they are a good value for a relatively cheap purchase. I'd love to collect other sets endlessly but having just bought a house and a wedding coming up in September my funds are limited.

Busting wax is a waste of money. It's hard to have fun when you can see $100.00 bills disappearing before you're very eyes with little to show for it.

I have now promised my wife that I am going to take a break for most of the month of August and won't resume trading until after Labour Day.
