    Artist Proof Cards

What is your take on them. Value? Collectability? etc... What about cut artist proofs that were part of a sheet at one time?

Just looking for a little feed back.

    Thank you,

This topic has come up a few times.....

If you mean Artist's Proof inserts that are pack pulled, the value varies on how rare they are. Can be very collectible, sometimes not so much.

If you're talking about the ones that someone has cut from a Sheet (eBay has loads of these available) and specifically from The Cup, I say "to each his own": I've got several of them in my collection..... I like them, not everyone does though. If you're dropping $100 for one of them, IMO it's probably too much. If you're getting one for $10, depending on the player / set - maybe that's a good deal?

I wouldn't buy them because they're going to have lots of resale value down the road. They likely won't. For a relatively low cost though.... you can get something that looks pretty cool for you collection.

Thanks for the input. It will go to my personal Collection... Just making sure i'm not over paying at 5-15 per card (the Cup)

Just because I never get tired of showing these off.......... I probably overpaid for them at the time, mainly because I didn't know they were just sheet-cuts, but.........

Then, with a little bit of fortune at the card shows, I managed to turn them into these..............

I wouldn't sell them for anything, which makes them priceless. And worthless :D
