Paypal Protection?

I just made a sale and I can never remember what I need to be protected on paypal. I sold a Ovechkin Hot Prospects RPA /199 on ebay to CANADA. I want to be fully protected and I have no idea what I need or what its called.

I always ship registered but does that include Signature Confirmation too? I always get so confused on what I need to be protected.

Check with PayPal to find out what your requirement are for seller protection. It's their policy, after all.

Get signature confirmation. A registration number won't be sufficient. If they don't signed for it the item gets sent back to you.

If the sale is under $200 you need tracking, if it's over $200 you need tracking and signature.

Check with paypal to be sure, but I always thought it was proof of delivery. Tracking is not proof of delivery, only a signature is.

Ok it looks like I need A tracking number and signature confirmation seems to be what paypal is asking on their website.

What exactly do I ask for at the PO? Do I send it registered still then add a signature Conf? I checked USPS website but I could not find anything. Thanks for the help

your local PO will help you figure everything out..just tell them what exactly you need

They should ask you everytime if you want to send with Signature Confirmation if you send a package with tracking. If they don't then simply tell them you need Signature Confirmation and they will let you know all of your options.

You should get into the habit of knowing when to send basic mail, Registered with Tracking/Insurance and when to send with Signature Confirmation. For me, $ amount of the package being sent decides inwhich manner I will send the package. Or if the buyer seems a tad bit shady, or if the buyer pays for a higher method of shipping.
