Doesn't look real to me.
Regardless, if you're considering acquiring it, don't. It's a China ball signed in sharpie. It'll have faded to nothing before you know it anyways.

Looks like a terrible attempt at faking a Braun signature.

Interesting. So balls made in China are no good? The ball is a Pioneer League ball:

Balls with the "China" stamp under the SS are no good to get autographed. Any ball that isn't an Official Major League baseball should never be used to get an autograph. The cheaper or synthetic leather used on non-official balls bleed and fade with time and signatures disappear. Only OMLBs signed in blue pen retain their value.

The better question is who would fake a ball in sharpie on a china ball? It's worth 5 bucks even if it's real on that surface with that marker.

A lot of inexperienced forgers use crap items because they either don't have the cash for an OMLB or don't want to spend the money and risk messing up. That way, if they produce an atrocious looking forgery (like this one), they don't lose any money.

it looks like the number is signed with "5" instead of 8. Also im pretty sure most guys don't write # when they write their number. This also looks almost nothing like brauns sig. Don't buy this, as it looks like a horrible fake.
