Any source for tracking pulled RCs?
I am thinking about buying a couple boxes of past releases and am wondering if there is anywhere / anybody that tracks how many RCs might still be in unopened packs?
For instance, there are 99 copies of the 05-06 UD Ice Crosby RC. If I knew how many had already been pulled it would make the decision to buy a box (or not buy a box) easier. If only 15 - 20 were pulled I have better odds than if 80 - 90 have been pulled.
Does anyone know of a source like that? Not just for Crosby, but other big name players.Hidden Content

I think the closest thing you'd see to that would the Cup archives of mwdonald, but I can't see anybody going out of their way to do that for any other product.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I'm curious to see if it's even possible. Boxes are packed at random, especially low-mid end stuff so it might be borderline impossible to do. I could see it with hand-packed stuff like The Cup.

I'd personally stay away from 05-06 Ice at the current price. I cracked a ton of it when DACW had 'em for $66 per, best I did was Lundqvist to 1999. I did the math, the 99's fall like 1 per 10 cases, so a Sid would be 1 in 900+ boxes.

The closest I feel you can get would be to go to the PSA grading registry and the BGS grading registry and seeing how many have been slabbed. I am going to assume that *MOST* of Sids Ice RC's have been slabbed. Add up all the numbers and see where it stands. Then also assume there might be a few out there not slabbed. It should give you at least a relatively accurate ballpark number. This process would work for any high-end rc where the production number is on the card and the odds of grading are high. However this method falls to pieces if you disagree with my opinion that the majority of the cards have been graded.
