2014 NBA Draft discussion thread
Well there's less than a week to go until the draft. Who do you hope your team uses their pick on? Feel free to discuss all draft talk here.
Here's a couple of rumors I'm hearing -
MCW and T Young may be traded to the Lakers for Nash and pick #7.
Melo to the Cavs in a S&T for the #1 pick.Last edited by AndyG23; 06-20-2014 at 07:53 PM.

That actually wouldn't be bad for the Cavs to do. Would Lebron join him in Cleveland then?Selling all my cards here updated as of May------------> Hidden Content

It would be interesting to see what happens with Lebron if this occurs. I think he stays in Miami.
The Embiid injury really has thrown a spanner in the works now. If the Cavs still have the #1 pick then Wiggins is just about a certainty. Parker should go second although the Bucks are really high on Exum. Would Orlando take Embiid if he was available at 4? I'm not sure how I would feel about that!

the melo to the cavs deal isn't happening. lebron back to the cavs isn't happening. i don't even know why people, the media mostly, are talking about that. i think the cavs will either take parker or wiggins, but who really knows with dan gilbert. he just hired a coach that has zero coaching experience in the nba. the cavs are the most poorly run franchise in all of sports. gilbert should just sell the team now that he got his casino built. there's no way kyrie irving is going to re sign with them

Maybe I'm way off base with the thinking but I see the Cavs as an unlikely destination but still more likely than some of the Western Conference teams that ESPN keeps throwing out there. Why anybody would want to go to the West when you can stay in the East and basically be a lock for the NBA Finals is beyond me.

Less than 11 hours to go now. It's just after 11pm here in Aus and I will be pulling an allnighter haha. Got Wimbledon, the World Cup and PS3 to get me through to the draft lol. I think Wiggins is a lock at 1, followed by Parker, Embiid and Exum.

Embiid is worth the risk, If i had any of the top four picks and ended up with him, I wouldn't be concerned.

Once a team is " on the clock" how much time do they have to pick ?

I think Exum will make it easier to resign Hayward.
