Nra
One of the ads that shows up in my feed is for the NRA. They are running a special for $25 you get a 1 year subscription to one of their firearms publications, and a dufflebag. Despite the NRA being in favor of the second amendment they are nothing more than a mouthpiece for the republican party and they have no intrest in protecting a black man's right to keep and bear arms. I could use the dufflebag but would be embarrassed to promote such a sham group.

Ah yes...the ole "whitey is out ta get me!" angle.
You may not like it, but make no mistake, your right to keep and bear arms still exist largely due to the NRA being such a vocal and financial advocate of the 2nd Amendment. Had they never existed then your 2nd Amendment rights would have been long gone many years ago.

I'd assume the NRA want black's to join as much as white's. They want as many people as possible. It gives them more lobbying power too.

My daddy (RIP) who was black on both sides as well as being a cop told me to stay away from them because they do not have the black man's best interest at heart.

I saw an ad for a jacket that was really nice. I might buy it.
Why are we talking about random purchases we may or may not make? I thought this was a political forum.
Or is this so far off topic so it doesn't get loc...never mind.

The NRA is a group that is the mouth piece for right wingers and they have a lot of political clout. I do like their bag and shooting magazines but am not sure if I want to support a group like that. I am kind of torn.

Right. I'm still thinking about that jacket but I'm not sure blue looks as good on me as black.
I love this new fashion forum, guys!

The NRA started as a way to train Union soldiers to become more effective shooters against the South in the Civil War. Blacks don't trust the NRA, yet the NRA exist because of the war to free blacks...kind of ironic, wouldn't you say?
