New member in Madison

Hello SCF. I'm a new member, 26 , a law student, and just back to collecting baseball cards. I had a big collection as a kid, and as an adult I'd buy packs here and there. Then I started researching how to get what I actually wanted and how to build a collection. So far, I've gone a little nuts, eBay-ing lots of recent Topps relics and autos. I spent my entire life in Denver, so I collect Rockies players (current, for now), as well as Brewers (because I'm in Wisconsin), and Orioles (my mom grew up in Baltimore and my first ever baseball game was at Camden). I also collect younger players, or just players from other teams if I like the player.As a student, I don't have a lot of extra cash for cards, but I manage by only chasing players I like. I'm also thinking of getting into memorabilia, but I hear mixed reviews on authenticity. We'll see. Growing up, my favorite player was Cal Ripken Jr., and now, of course, it's Troy Tulowitzki. I got the card of my life tonight, as I just won an auction for a redemption for a Topps Tribute Timeless Tribute Dual Autograph Tulowitzki/Ripken (TTRART, #/24). My two favorite players, both signed on the same card, and I had to have it, although the cost means I'm probably done buying for a bit!I'll have my first two pieces of memorabilia at the end of the month, as I'm attending an in-store signing with Jean Segura and Jonathan Lucroy. Going to snag a signed ball from both guys.Glad to be here, I learned a lot lurking this forum. If anyone can help me out with memorabilia, Rockies, Brewers, or Orioles, let me know!
