If we're including college, then the Score Board years, what with all the forgeries and such (most of those sets weren't too impressive to the eye, either).
Pros are a more difficult call. 2008-09 Topps Signature had some major problems (6,000 or more autographs from Swaggy P being one), but there were some good stars in that set. Probably the best bet would be one of the sets from the dual rookie class year for Panini. With no ability for critical analysis whatsoever, they basically decided - in hopes of getting the next Jeremy Lin - to throw everything against the wall in hopes one of these players might stick.

kinda new but i think one day the UD Chronology "Timeless Memories" autos will be one of the best auto'd sets of all time.

I always liked those as well and I'll add an interesting note...
The Erick Barkley does not exist. It's numbered and listed in Beckett as Barkley but it's actually an unlisted Raef LaFrentz card.

Yeah I always wanted a adam haluska postmark auto but coukd.never find one or.wouldnt pay enough for it.
