Contest for next year.

I was thinking of ideas for contests for next year and one of them was an All-Star contest. Well two of them actually. The first one was picking the players that will play in the game. It would be on a points system, say 2-3 for starters and 4-5 for reserves. Something simple where we give a card or CC away. The other would be for all star weekend, picking who wins the rasining star game, mvp of the game, who wins the three point contest, dunk contest, skills contest, all star game winner, mvp. This one I would like to give a couple cards and CC away making it a big deal like we did for the finals.
We can do the one where we have members pick the mvp, ROY, DOF, coach of the year, 6th man, which team improves with the most wins or something along those lines.

Hey bud I like all those ideas, I also want to bring back some of the VIP contests as other than GTS we really didn't do much for the VIP's. I would like to really try to spark some activity for our section this coming season and I feel some great contests could potentially do just that, We could also maybe do a standings contest, to see where you think everyone will finish based on a points system as well, I would like to get as many contests going as we can handle and senior management will let us do, thanks. Let's see how many contest we can have where we give out CC. Is there a limit each group gets each season? What where some of the VIP contest we use to ran? I will write up those contest in a few days and any imput is always appreciated.

I will get with Roger and see if there is a limit, I have never managed a sports section before only the arcade and events so I will have to figure it out. As for the VIP's it was basically the same contest we ran for our regular members but like the cc payout once were generally a little more.

We can also do a contest were member pick the All-NBA 1st, 2nd, and 3rd team. This can be based on a points system with the top two getting CC.

That sounds good as well, let's start getting a list together with some templates so when the contests get here we can just post and go. Who would like to do what contest. Daniel

I'll write these up with a template this week/weekend. Have we figured out how much CC we can give away each year?

I did find out we get the cc from Jaybird_1981, let's figure out how much cc we would like to give out for each contest and I will approach him about it, does that work.
