Bowman is the first product of the year to feature the new rookie class assoicated with the team that drafted them. While the uniforms are blank, a team logo appears on each card unless the player went undrafted (NFL logo instead). There are three versions of each card in the basic set, white paper (base), black paper and rainbow foil. Each set contains 110 cards. Cards feature the subjects in action, whether during a game for the veterans to staged poses for the rookies. In addition to the three set levels, there are many serial numbered color parallels. Cards will be numbered as high as 499 and as low as 1. One final parallel is the Silver Ice series, in which the cards have the appearance of multiple prizms.

Insert sets are at a premium with a die cut series and a throwback to 1950 with the Bowman Minis. The Die Cut set has 50 cards as is devoted strictly to veterans. There are two parallel levels, Blue /99 and Red /1. The 1950 Bowman Minis highlight 100 rookies from the 2014 Draft Class. YOu can expect 1 in every pack.

Each box of Bowman will contain four autographs and 1 relic. Autographs are all centered around the rookies. The basic rookie signatures are on chrome cards and more importantly, they are on-card instead of stickers. There are seven parallel levels and most can only be found in hobby packs. Superfractors appear in Bowman and all are 1/1s. 1950 Bowman Minis also have a signature series with on-card autographs that include a Red Ink parallel /5. Bonus autographs include the Under Armour All-American Game Series and the Rookie Premiere Signatures. The Under Armour set contains autographs from the 2011 game. The Rookie Premiere cards are redemptions, but are expected to be on-card signatures as well. The Bowman Jersey series is devoted to the veterans. There are four parallel levels as well as printing plate versions.
