What's next for ITG?
As a big fan of In The Game products, I'm worried about the absence of news since the release of Draft Picks. Anybody knows what's next? Will there be another ITG Ultimate, for example? Thanks!

With the release of Panini Prime, National Treasures, and UD'S The Cup, coming up in the next few months, you may see ITG hold back during this time. ITG Ultimate may be an option in the fall to rival The Cup, but it seems to vary every year. The ITG website and Dr. Price have been very quiet lately. It has been a busy 2014 for them already. Hopefully some new product comes out soon!

I'd expect Ultimate Memoribilia to come out some time around the Expo. I would also expect that'd have something else in between though. No idea what the next "box set" type plan is... something along the line of Enforcers, Decades, Motown, etc. That sort of configuration. Love that style of product from them.

I agree with RanfordFan. Ultimate Memorabilia or Superlative released a few weeks before the Fall Expo. Over the summer I would think they would be releasing a set that doesn't compete with Upper Deck and Panini's major releases. Some sort of themed set. A Decades set would bring in more buyers than a team set like Motown, Broadstreet or Forever Rivals. I do expect a themed set like those to be released before the new year.
I would love to see an Original Six themed set. That should bring in huge buyers. Tons of old-timer Montreal Canadiens have been in their products over the years which brought in huge collectors, but I haven't seen too much of the other teams, aside from the usual Detroit or Toronto players.
Or maybe a 'Dynasty' themed set with heavy focus on the 5 teams that have won 4 or more cups in a row or x amount of cups in x amount of years. Maybe a focus on the dominant lines over the years, Russian Five, French Connection etc. Of course, I imagine it would be hard getting jerseys from the Ottawa team in the 20's lol but I suppose that could just be an insert set :P
I would actually like to see a sub-set at least of players who finally got their Stanley Cup after all those years. I am all for players deciding to go to a contender after 15+ years just trying to get a cup. Or maybe something like 'Class Act Moves' like Detroit trading Modano back to Dallas just so Modano could retire as a Dallas Star/Minnesota North Star. Maybe they will do the same with Alfie if Ottawa wants him back :P I could see Iginla going back to retire in Calgary. Those are class act moves in my book.
Just spit-balling here :P I am not yet worried about ITG/Leaf and I will continue to support them by buying their products. Not just because I support them but because over the past 4 years I have liked their products a hundred times more than UD's prodcuts.Master List: Hidden Content

I believe there was a Leaf rep on here or another board that said they are working on Ultimate Memorabilia.

I was looking on your comments and have a question - i guess it would be a great idea to make some set with players played but never produced on cards in some teams. I have a lot of examples (mainly with USSR born players like Sergei Makarov in Dallas etc). Can be just base card, not auto or jersey. Not even necessary to be team-set, and probably can be through-the-sets insert like UD did with hometown heroes and other items.
But the qustion is - with all Prime, CUP etc sets with huge patches, does anybody care about base cards or inserts still?
I believe ITG is the only company who can be interested in such [crazy] idea, but with no license it is impossible/makes no sence ...

I talked with Gregg from Leaf and invited him over. He said he would be happy to talk with members and answer questions about ITG plans. If you want answers why not get it straight from the source. Hopefully, we can have him in the chat room and bring attention to questions that he can only answer.
