Check out these beauties!
I used to have a Doug Flutie autograph from the 1999 Score 10th Anniversary Reprints Autographs set. They repinted some of the 1989 Score (Still one of my favorite sets of all time) cards and had them autographed. This is a great set also. Out of curiousity I went to my trusty dusty book to see what cards were in the set.
Wow...there are some great autographs in that set. Some of you may know that I already have a pattern of picking difficult autograph sets to complete (2004 Donruss Classics Significant Signatures Platinum #'d to 25). Well I decided that I needed to put this set to gether also. I have managed to find the following so far:
John Elway
Jerry Rice
Barry Sanders (reprint of his RC)
Troy Aikman (reprint of his RC)
Here are some scans for you!
P.S. If anyone has more from this set let me know please!

Troy Aikman BV $250
Barry Sanders BV $400
John Elway BV $250
Jerry Rice BV $250
I do not mean to sound like a wise acher...but...of course they are worth something. They are inserted autographs from Score. This is a paralell insert autograph set from 1999 score titled "10th Anniversary Reprints Autographs"

Impressive cards & goal, That will be quite an adventure and rewarding with every addition.
one of the great things the internet and ebay, et al offers.
The realistic chance to complete sets like this(another prop to card companies for making 1,ooo's of sets so everyone doesn't/can't focus on everything)
GOOD LUCK can't wait for updates!!

I run a search automatically everyday for them on eBay.
I found the Jerry Rice at a card show and paid $175.00 for it.
The Aikman was eBay for $205.00.
The Sanders was eBay for $325.00.
The Elway was eBay $185.00.
To find these cards on the secondary market is pretty amazing. I lost an auction for a Randall Cunningham the other day and a Rod Woodson closed for $213.00....That guy really wanted that card! So I just search every day on eBay and ask you guys for help when I try to complete a tough set like this.
Here is the update on my other "Quest for the Holy Grail" https://www.sportscardforum.com/showt...10#post1485610
I will keep everybody posted on the progress of both of these sets as I go along. At least you guys will listen to me. :new_llyin My wife just keeps doing whatever it is that she does and pretends to listen to me with little "uh uhs" as I tell her about the great progress on both of these quests.:new_shock

I figured out how to solve the "no packers" problem. Doug Flutie was so cool that I have decided to make him an "Honorary Packer". The Thomas auto will be tough...so will the Marino. You know I love these kinds of challenges anyways. I always need something to work towards. This set is just so great looking that I could not help myself.
It is good to hear from you Prophet. I see you still have the Reggie White Jersey that we traded.
