Value on a bure cup auto?
I didn't pay any attention to these cards when they first came out so I'm not sure what to expect for value on this card. It was listed at 299 and didn't sell...thoughts?

Bure Canucks stuff from higher end products do very well

Ya..I'm guessing based on those prices that one with less impressive patches would be fair to the right person somewhere in the $200+ range I guess. Agree? I find it hard to pay that much for this card though. I got the cup foundations /15 auto for $150 in trade and I think it's a nicer looking card.

If It were my card, I wouldnt let the Bure EoE go for under $250. I also wouldnt have that card, as im too picky with patches if its for my PC.
You might want to wait to see if Bure is in The Cup this year. That will drive prices down a little ( not much as he is only in 12/13 Cup ). If he doesnt have much auto / patch stuff in The Cup this year I would actually be very happy .... as UD might actually not flood the market with this guy.
Two major differences between Cup Foundations and Emblems Of Endorsements.
1 - IMO EoE is a much more collected set
2 - Even though your Foundations card is /15, there really are a lot more copies of the card. Quad Jersey /25, Quad Jersey Auto /15, Quad Patch /10, Quad Patch Auto /5, Quad Tag Auto /1 = 56 copies of the same card, with very slight differences.
Its kind of like the difference between 1/1s and true 1/1s.
Not a true 1/1:
- Certified Mirror Black
- Artifacts Black
- Prizm Ice Blue
Basically any parallel 1/1, or anything that belongs to a rainbow. Yes, it says 1/1, and yes, it does look different or have different features ..... but really there are XXXX amoutn of cards that look EXACTLY like that 1/1. Panini and ITG are the worst for making 1/1s with their only difference being slight color differences.
On the other hand:
- Auto Shields
- SPA Rarified Rookies
- Manufactures Marks
- Extreme Skates
- Lumbergraphs
All have 1 card produced. No Base / Silver Parallel / Purple Parallel / Green Parallel / Black Parallel 1/1 ..... once that card it owned by someone .... it may never surface again and you may never have another chance at it ( I know there are a ton of auto shields out there, but based on specific year it is a real 1/1 ).
In all honesty, I consider something like this to be more of a 1/1 than the rainbows / sets with 1000+ cards ... and one being a different color being called a 1/1

my biggest issue as well. I'm picky with patches unless I have no choice...

I feel like there is a lot of Bure stuff coming out. Still, it is The Cup, low numbered, hard auto and patch so that shouldn't deter the big collectors. $300 is not a far fetch. $215+ on any given day.
