Anyone looking for a cool new project?
I thought about doing this project myself, but just do not have the time to get 100 requests and addresses looked up right now. I thought that I would share the idea in case anyone else is interested. In the past I have had wonderful success with guys who played in the 40's and 50's! I have even had many answer the index card questions I like to ask of players of that era. I had thoughts of picking up 100 blank baseball custom cards and mailing out to the 100 oldest living baseball players. It is great that they stretch back to a different era of baseball and a time when that game truly was the National Past Time! Here is a list of the players:

I have already gotten these players from other mailings (mostly on 1953 Topps Reprint set) and know that they have done TTM in the past if anyone is interested:

Bobby Doerr- oldest HOF member
Monte Irvin

I have a quarter of the list done in other projects, but thought I would share the idea. Should you go for it please let us know how it goes for you!
Should anyone have a similar list for football players, let me know.
