September 2014 Basketball Card Draft Pick Thread

We didn't have too much of a problem with the hours. Probably eight cards per person would work better. Easier to work through 80 cards than 100.

I would like to do a draft with only players who have made an All-Star appearance....just a thought...

im down for another also. will you keep it @$10 BV or move it up. if you move it up to maybe $20BV the # of cards submitted should be dropped to maybe 5? and yes All Star players only would be nice.

I like the $10 BV minimum. Trader Retreat had a cool rule where we had to submit a combined $125 in BV minimum (I think their BV minimum was $8 so even doing a $150 minimum total on SCF could work well).

So instead of sending 10 $10 BV cards people had to find some higher BV stuff to mail in to get to $125 or higher for their cards combined. It worked pretty well.

I also like how the card ranking only went to 20 cards - made it much easier.

What about RC's from that year? Limit it to the Top 5 picks maybe?

That could be intriguing, I think a $20bv would be fun depending on interest. I do like the All-Star idea though.

Definitely, it was a pain compiling all 90 rankings from everyone. Definitely will be top 20 next time. I like that idea where people have to send a couple at least that are higher than the min bv.

Good ideas. How often would you guys like to have drafts? Monthly, every other month, every 3 months?
