A continuance from the 10/31 game....
D.J Peterson, SS, SEA
D.J. Peterson is a "one and done" signer. If I had known that, I would have had him sign my TH card and not the BP card. Oh well, I am hitting up another game on Thursday to get another and hopefully kill off the rest of the cards I still have for Surprise.

That is it for this game. Overall, I was happy with my successes but Deven Marrero (BOS) and Jesse Winker (CIN) refused to sign until "after the game."
Thanks for the read,

Another AZL Update... like previously stated, I am trying to catch up on my posts....
So yesterday, I wanted to get the Glendale DDogs in order to help a fellow SCF member out with his '91 Topps set. The reason for the GDD.... Lance Parrish is the Manager!
Lance Parrish, Manager
Lance was really awesome! Upon arriving, I asked other GDD fans if Lance signed and if so, was he a "one and done." To my surprise, Lance signed tons of items for fans which made me feel better for asking for only 2 items! I asked Lance what the '84 Tigers WS Champ team was like and he said, "like no other before." I hope that meant "epic and you should have been there!" LOL! The '91T is for Ray, another SCF Member and the '84T is for my set!

Corey Seager, SS, LAD
During the Peoria/GDD game, a couple weeks ago, Corey was a quick signer and everyone wanted his sig, so I went in with low hopes but for a "one and done." Corey came out and signed two of my cards and was pretty cool with all the fans! I foresee him breaking into the Majors soon.
IMG_8763.jpg
Tim Anderson, OF, CWS
Tim was a guy that I really wanted to get sigs from but he is a "one and done" signer! That's a bummer because I had 2 cards but he will be in the Majors in no time!
IMG_8764.jpg
Tyrone Taylor, OF, MIL
I almost missed Tyrone because his picture looks so different than in real life. In the card, he looks Caucasian but in person he has more Hispanic features. I only had one card so him signing was easy and quick!
IMG_8765.jpg
Mychal Givens, SS, BAL
Mychal was another player I almost missed but not because I didn't recognize him. Mychal came out and went directly into the bullpen. Another fan asked him to sign and he gave us the "in a minute" gesture but sure as day, he came over and I was able to check him off my list!

Still more to come!

A continuance from the 11/10 GDD Game!
Hector Gomez, SS, MIL
Gomez was a quick signer and pretty cool about it. Luckily, I had the '08 Donruss Threads card from a set break and the '08 Bowman from breaking wax! No complaints to cross him off my list.
IMG_8767.jpg
Matt Magill, P, LAD
Matt Magill was almost a "No-Go." Matt wasn't pitching and came out of the clubhouse wearing regular clothes. Luckily he signed 2/3 of my cards before going to take a seat in the stands. I was going to ask for the 3rd to be signed but I am not one that will push my luck when he was nice enough to do 2.
IMG_8768.jpg
Out of all the cards I took yesterday, Chad Smith and Parker Bidwell were not successes. Chad already departed the AZL and went home while Parker signed for a couple people and stopped right next to me. I will probably send to Parker on his MiLB team so that I can cross those cards off my list as well.
On Thursday, 11/13, I will hit up the last AZL game for the season (for me that is). I am hoping to get everyone crossed off my Surprise list and see if Deven Marrero will sign the foul ball I snagged just after the Raul Mondesi Jr foul ball.... And yes, That was a great 10/31 game because that was 2 foul balls in 2 consecutive innings!
Thanx for the look!

Well, it's been a quiet December, in terms of graphing, but Ms. Mail lady didn't let me go an entire month with nothing. Today, the USPS brought me a TTM from 90 days ago.
And.... It's of a childhood favorite!
Will Clark, SFG
(WILL ADD PICTURE IN A BIT)
I sent 2 cards but only 1 came back... It's a bummer for the SCF member I am trying to help with his 91 Topps set but I can't complain when it's an overall sucess!!
If Will happens to ever read this, "Thank you!"

Ok, so this is a day late due to a tattoo appointment and busy day......
Yesterday, my mailday was former-DBacks Pitcher, and Inaugural team member, Andy Benes via home..... It was roughly 21 days and he was gracious to sign my '98 Season Ticket and 2 cards!
Now, 1ST Royals workout did not go as planned.... I missed a handful of players who would not sign. I did manage to obtain Kyle Zimmer, Edinson Volquez, and Jason Vargas as 50/50s for SCF members.....
PICS TO FOLLOW LATER

Well, my school and internship schedule has hampered going to any dbacks games.... Until last night!
Augie Ojeda - For some odd reason, former-DBack Augie Ojeda was in the dugout. Not having anything for him to sign.... He was gracious to sign my ticket for that day.
SP, Chase Anderson - on a 4x6 picture
SP, Josh Collmenter - on my custom 1/1 game ticket card
SP, Jeremy Hellickson - on my wife's game ticket
Oh, and it was a Mystery Ball night. I know my luck is terrible so I had my wife pick a box. Last year, She picked a Goldy ball and a Corbin ball.... This time.... Archie Bradley!
Good night of starting this year's graph collection
