I don't understand why the US forces Presidents to not run a second time, or become a lame duck by default.
I mean, I understand why it was done, it's just kind of dumb.

Wrong.

Realistic would be more like it. How many people are polled? From what areas? If you can please 60+% of nearly a 1/4 of a billion people, that actually ain't too bad.
