    Printing plates

Are these any good? I know they're 1/1, but are they worth anything? I found a good one on ebay, and i'm thinking of buying it. But i just don't know about them. It has ink all over it, but i'm assuming thats typical.

to me printing plates are worth very little. i dont consider them cards really....more of a novelty. why dont they circulate the used ink cartridges too and stamp those 1/1.

I don't collect them unless it is of Matt Schaub. Otherwise no interest.

I think they are more sought after by the player collector than anyone else

I think printing plates are a great idea, but card companies killed them by overproducing them. Each card theoretically has 8 printing plates (4 colors, front and back), and a player can have 3-4 cards in a set. Not exactly what I call a 1/1.

Yeah...I heard that Topps Total made 4,400 "1/1" in a year. Oh look! I got 8 1/1's of the same player...OF THE SAME CARD!
