In a long line of releases utilizing the same design, Topps Chrome hits the market. Chrome products have been popular for years and Topps Chrome garnered interest a couple of years ago when it added an autograph in every box. The base set is a streamlined 220 cards that infuses rookies with veterans. Parallels appear as follows (Numbered in italics):

Four insert sets appear in Chrome. Throwback designs have become so commonplace lately that they border on ridiculous. One set goes back 25 years to highlight today's stars with the original design from 1989. These fall 1:12 with Autograph versions at 1:14,200. Chrome All-Time Rookies hit at 1:280 some famous rookies in a Chrome reprint. Die Cuts appear as often and throwbacks anymore. Chrome Connectors Die Cuts (1:12) feature today's stars on a card that looks like a shield. Autographs are 1:14,200. The final set is Topps Shelf (1:12) which features a checklist of young and old. You could also pull Superfractors 1:35,500 and Autographs 1:3,560.

Each box will yield two autographs. Typically, these will be Base Rookie Autographs (1:15) which are on-card signatures. The following are the parallel versions:
